The Road Bike section is a multi tire size section, air pressures have been adjusted to the measured casing width. All numbers are for a single tire at a speed of 29 km/h / 18 mph and a load of 42.5 kg / 94 lbs. Use the formula: RR (Watts) = CRR * speed (m/s) * load (N) to calculate rolling resistance at a given speed and load. |

Conclusion
- Continental Grand Prix 5000 S TR 30
(100% is best)
This time, we got a sample of the Grand Prix 5000 S TR that comes in heavier than specified, affecting the test results a bit. We see the latest sample of the 30-622 rolls slightly slower in our rolling resistance tests but performs a bit better in the puncture tests thanks to the slightly thicker tread thickness.
When we review all our tests of the Grand Prix 5000 S TR over the past years, all samples perform surprisingly close to each other even when there is three years between the oldest and newest sample. This isn't easy to accomplish, and it shows that the manufacturing consistency in Conti's German factory is amazing.
